Riva Gulkarov

Roza Rubenovna Gulkarov, the only daughter of her parents Ruben and Tamara Gulkarov, completed her studies at Tashkent Pedagogical University with a degree in Psychology and Music.

She had a passion for music from a young age, having graduated from a music school. Throughout her creative life, she dedicated herself to the upbringing and education of the younger generation. While still in university, Roza introduced a new teaching method using flashcards. She was a creative individual in all her endeavors, characterized by her determination, responsibility, and numerous ideas to improve the quality of life for her family. From her first marriage to Ilya Alaev, she had two children, Svetlana and Yuri. From her second marriage to Lev Borukhov, she had a daughter, Mila. In 1990, she emigrated to the United States, settling in San Diego.

Despite the challenges of life, Roza found her place in her new country. Working as an educator by profession, and not shying away from any job, she managed to provide for her children, buy a house, and secure financial independence in her later years.
