Boris Rubenovich Gulkarov is the eldest son of Ruben and Tamara Gulkarovs. Graduated from Moscow Engineering and Construction Institute. Worked as a leading engineer in the city of Tashkent. On his account dozens of original building constructions. He moved with his family to the USA in 1979. He continued working on his specialty and defended his doctoral thesis in Los Angeles.
A devoted son, brother, father, wonderful family man Boris did and does everything to be useful to the society. He is the president of the Bukharian Jewish community of Los Angeles and a community organizer for the city of San Diego. Many of us are grateful to him for his titanic labor that allowed many of us to leave the USSR, and there are more than 100 of us. Numerous negotiations, letters, appeals to various authorities, paperwork, etc. took a lot of time and effort, but he did not consider it his duty to help people. For what he is very grateful and bowed.
Boris is married to Olga Kalendaryova, has two children and 4 grandchildren.
