Joseph (John) was born on October 22, 1939, in Tashkent. In 1961, he graduated from the Tashkent Institute of National Economy with a degree in “Economist-Accountant for Industry.” He had an impeccable career spanning 30 years, starting from a junior accountant-economist and rising to become the head of the Department of Accounting, Reporting, and Finance at the Ministry of Construction of the Uzbek SSR and the State Construction Committee of the Uzbek SSR. He was awarded the Honorary Certificate of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Uzbek SSR, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Uzbek SSR, and the Council of the Ministry of Construction of the Uzbek SSR.

In 1959, John met his future wife, the love of his life, Frida Shamayevna Niyazova, who was studying at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. She was a beautiful and excellent homemaker, a devoted wife and mother, a kind and compassionate daughter-in-law. Together with her husband, they raised wonderful children, Rita, Eduard, and Olga, and are helping raise their exceptional grandchildren. With deep knowledge and skills in the field of pharmacology, Frida progressed from an intern to the deputy head of the central pharmacy in Tashkent. She also actively participated in public activities as the secretary of the Pharmaceutical Council of the city. In recognition of her impeccable work, she was awarded the titles of “Honored Healthcare Worker of the USSR” and “Pharmacist-Organizer of the Highest Category.”
After immigrating to the United States with her family in 1991, Frida continued to work in her field to this day.
