Pinkhas Niyazov

From the memories of Tamara Mavasheva about Frekho’s children:

The second son in the family of Frekho and David Niyazov – Pinhas. He was born in 1927. Pinhas was a very active and clever child from an early age. He was a loving brother, concerned about his parents, and sympathetic to his mother’s illness. After the death of his mother, at the age of 16, he lived in our family. He helped Ruben and carried out his tasks. Later, he got a job as a train conductor on the railroad. At the age of 26, he met Maria Kataeva, fell in love with her, and married her. The wedding took place in our home. Maria was a beautiful, cheerful, and intelligent young woman who graduated from a medical college and worked in the field of medicine throughout her life.

They raised three wonderful children – Semen, Galya, and Grisha. Semen and Grisha graduated from the Tashkent Road Institute and worked in the Metrostroy of Tashkent before moving to America. Galina became an accountant-economist.

In 1993, the entire family immigrated to the United States, to New York. Daughter Galya passed away suddenly in 2004 after a serious illness. In 2011, Maria Niyazova left this world unexpectedly. Galya and Maria are buried in New York.
