From Tamara Mavasheva’s memories of Sister Frejo’s children

The eldest son of Frekho, Mordukhai, after being wounded on the front, was assigned to work in the city of Bekabad, where he met his future wife. In this city, he encountered a beautiful girl from Ashkenazi Jews, evacuated from Kiev – Evgenia Reznik. She also worked at Farhadstroy as an instructor in the party office. In 1947, Genya moved to Tashkent, and after a modest wedding ceremony at our home, she became Evgenia Petrovna Niyazova.

Mordukhai and Evgenia raised three wonderful children – Peter, Alik, and Israel. The Mordukhai family immigrated to the United States, to the city of Cleveland, in 1993, following an invitation from the wife’s relatives. The same year marked a year of loss for the family, as Mordukhai passed away during this period. Evgenia Petrovna passed away in 2011.

The second son in the family of Frejo and David Niyazov is Pinchas. He was born in 1927. Pinhas from childhood was a very agile and bright child. He was a loving brother, worried about his parents, sympathized with his mother’s illness. After his mother’s death, when he was 16 years old, he lived with our family. He helped Ruben, ran his errands. Later on. he got a job as a conductor on the railroad. At the age of 26, he met Mariya Kataeva, fell in love and married her. The wedding was held at our house. Maria is a beautiful,
cheerful, intelligent girl, graduated from medical school.

They raised three beautiful children – Semyon, Galya and Grisha. Semyon and Grisha graduated from the Tashkent Automobile Road Institute and worked in Metrostroy of Tashkent until they left for America. Tashkent until they left for America. Galina majored in accounting and economics. In 1993 the whole family emigrated to the USA, to New York. Daughter Gala, after serious illness left this world in 2004. In 2011, suddenly passed away Maria Niyazova. Gala and Maria are buried in New York.

Danil Niyazov is the third son of Frejo and David Niyazov. The year of his mother’s death, he was
13 years old. He lived with us. Ruben got him a job as a shoemaker. It’s a specialty remained with him for the rest of his life. Even though he had no education, nature had given him he was blessed with a remarkable mind and talent. By the 1950s, he was already and a successful businessman.
Danil dreamed and loved to live beautifully. In 1957, he married a medical school student from Bukhara, Alexandra Sionova. The wedding was held in Bukhara and in Tashkent. They had three sons Boris, Grigory, Dodik and one girl. The girl died in childbirth, and the middle son – Dodik died at the age of 12 after an incurable disease in my arms.

In 1972, Daniel bought a large house for his children to live in with their families. He was a good family man and a wonderful husband. He devoted his entire life to his family. Danil and Alexandra have four grandchildren.
In 1992, two years before immigrating to the U.S., Danil, after a short illness, died in Tashkent and is buried in the same cemetery illness died in Tashkent and is buried in the same cemetery where his mother was buried. After my sister’s death in 1943, Lyuba lived for some time with her brother Mordukhai, and then moved in with our family and stayed until her marriage. Luba was a good helper in in running the household and looking after the children. We married Luba on March 5, 1952, at the age of 18.
